Advanced Control Unit for TS, TI, and PI- Series Instruments
The performech control unit available from Hysitron offers users advanced control and unsurpassed resolution for nanomechanical testing.
The performech control unit is standard on TI 950 TriboIndenter, TI 750 Ubi, TS 75 TriboScope and PI 95 PicoIndenter systems. Existing TI 900 TriboIndenter, TI 700 Ubi and TS 70 TriboScope systems can be upgraded to include the performech control unit capabilities.
The performech control unit incorporates the most advanced technology to produce a fully automated, DSP control unit that offers:
- Less-than 30 nN normal force noise floor
- 78 kHz internal feedback loop rate
- User definable acquisition rates up to 38 kHz
- in-situ imaging with contact forces as low as 70 nN to image delicate structures
- Enhanced lateral force noise floor of < 2 μN and displacement noise floor of < 3.5 nm
- Dual head testing capabilities
The modular design utilizes an easy-to- upgrade architecture that allows the user
to add technique-specific cards to support the full suite of Hysitron testing. The performech
all-in-one control unit is capable of controlling every Hysitron transducer,
head and scanner with increased accuracy and sensitivity.
For existing systems, the performech control unit is the ideal upgrade to offer lower noise, faster feedback and an all-in-one control unit. Any existing Hysitron system can be upgraded to be used with the performech control unit. Contact your local sales representative for more information.
